Dog body temperature changes rules:
1. The normal body temperature of healthy dogs is: 38.5 to 39°C for young dogs and 37.5 to 8.5°C for adult dogs.
2. The body temperature of a healthy dog will remain within a certain range, usually the lowest in the early morning and slightly higher in the afternoon. The temperature difference between day and night generally does not exceed 1 degree.
3. If the body temperature exceeds 1℃ or the body temperature is high in the morning and low in the afternoon, it indicates that the body temperature is abnormal.
Methods to determine dog fever:
1. Simple measurement and analysis from the dog’s nose, ear base and mental state.
2. The most accurate way to measure the dog’s body temperature is to use a thermometer to measure the dog’s temperature.
