Can Chow Chows eat apples?

Can Chow Chows eat apples? Apples are rich in vitamins, fructose, and trace elements, which can promote the growth and development of Chow Chows. Breeders can steam apples to make apple puree and mix it with dog food before feeding it.

Although apples are good for the growth and development of Chow Chows, they should not be fed too much. Chow Chows are carnivores, and their intestines and stomach cannot fully digest and absorb the fiber in apples. Eating too much will cause gastrointestinal indigestion.

Breeders can feed dog food with high fruit and vegetable content instead of apples to supplement nutrition for Chow Chows. This not only ensures the nutritional intake of the Chow, but also avoids feeding apples which will increase the gastrointestinal burden of the Chow.
