What causes nasal branch in cats

Causes of cat rhinophyma:

1. Herpes virus infection in cats is usually caused by contact with herpes virus pathogens or the secretions of cats infected with herpes viruses.

2. The virus can be excreted from the nose, eyes and pharynx of sick cats, and infected to other cats through contact or droplets, and spreads very quickly. Especially droplets, which can be transmitted at a distance of 1 meter in still air.

3. Sick cats, naturally recovered cats, or cats in the latent infection period can carry or shed viruses and become sources of virus infection.

Symptoms of nasal branch in cats:

1. A significant increase in nasal secretions, which means the cat is found to have a runny nose and tears.

2. Tears from the eyes, serous and other secretions, cloudy eyeballs, and symptoms of conjunctivitis or ulcerative keratitis.

3. After an incubation period of 2 to 3 days, the body temperature will generally rise and fever will generally rise to about 40 degrees.

4. In severe cases, it may cause symptoms such as difficulty breathing and blindness. Cats will show obvious loss of appetite.
