Do cats feel pain the same as humans?

Cats' pain is different from that of humans. Cats' pain is several times greater than that of humans, but there is no fixed standard for measurement and judgment. Cats' perception is much better than that of humans, and they can also feel some environmental stimulation, such as spraying perfume, disinfectant, etc., which will be very irritating to cats.

Symptoms of pain in cats:

1. Listlessness. Cats feel pain and discomfort physically, which can also affect their mental state.

2. Reduced amount of exercise. If the cat suddenly reduces its amount of exercise and often lies still, then the cat may have a physical abnormality and the cat is enduring pain.

3. Curl up into a ball. If a cat suddenly likes to curl up in a ball to sleep for a period of time, the cat may be suffering from abdominal pain.

4. Frequently lick the same part. If a cat licks the same spot frequently, it may be that a certain part is injured and wants to relieve the pain by licking it.

5. Loss of appetite. If a cat suddenly loses interest in food, loses appetite, or is suddenly picky about food, it may be suffering from pain or other abnormalities.
