Things you need to prepare for raising a kitten:
1. Goat milk powder. When kittens are not yet able to eat cat food, they need to be fed goat milk powder specially designed for pets. After the kitten can eat cat food, you can also add goat milk powder to the kitten to supplement nutrition.
2. Cat food. Owners need to choose kitten food specifically for kittens, preferably hypoallergenic and grain-free natural food. Try not to choose cat food containing grains, which cannot be digested and absorbed by kittens and are highly allergenic.
3. Food bowl. It is best for owners to choose ceramic food bowls, which are less likely to be knocked over by cats, and using plastic food bowls may cause cats to have black chins.
4. Cat litter, cat litter box. Owners should choose cat litter that is low in dust and odorless. Most cats do not like scented cat litter, which will cause them to urinate everywhere.
5. Toys. The owner needs to prepare scratching posts, cat teasing sticks and some ball toys for the kitten. Not only can it prevent kittens from scratching, but it can also communicate with cats by interacting with them.
6. Commonly used care products. For example, probiotics, nail clippers, pet-specific wipes, eye care solutions, ear care solutions, absorbent cotton, etc. are all used in daily life.
7. Probiotics. The gastrointestinal tract of kittens is relatively fragile. When symptoms such as gastrointestinal discomfort and diarrhea occur, probiotics can be fed to the cat to help regulate the gastrointestinal tract.
8. Cat nests, soft cushions, thin blankets, etc. Kittens themselves have poor adaptability to changes in outside temperature. When the mother cat is not around, it is necessary to prepare warm cushions and thin blankets for the kittens and place them in the cat's nest to help prevent cold and keep warm. The kittens should be placed under the bed when sleeping at night. Place the kitten out of the wind, and try to place the kitten where it can see its owner, otherwise it may keep barking out of restlessness.
9. Regularly vaccinate and deworm cats, and do a good job in their daily health care. Bathe your cat regularly and wash its ears. Bathing should not be too frequent. The shower gel must be specially formulated for pets.
