Is parvovirus contagious between dogs?
Parvovirus is transmitted between dogs because canine parvovirus is caused by parvovirus infection and is highly contagious through contact. Usually when dogs do not have protective antibodies and their resistance is low, they will become infected if they come into contact with the feces, urine, secretions, etc. of sick dogs.

The main symptoms of dogs infected with parvovirus are diarrhea, vomiting, and in severe cases, blood in the stool, dehydration, shock, etc. Some dogs will show symptoms of myocarditis, such as shortness of breath, arrhythmia, etc.
