Why can’t cats eat salt?

A cat’s excessive intake of salt will affect its health and easily lead to yellowing of hair, excessive hair loss, internal heat, constipation, and heavy tear stains. Giving it salty food frequently will also make it develop a picky eating habit and become intolerant of bland food. In addition, too much salt in cats can cause kidney disease and even kidney failure. Therefore, do not feed your cat anything that contains salt.
Precautions for cat diet:
1. Feed the cat regularly every day to prevent the cat from overeating and affecting gastrointestinal health.
2. Do not feed raw meat to cats. Raw meat may contain parasites, and cats are susceptible to parasites if they eat it.
3. When feeding meat to cats, it is best to remove the bones and chop it into pieces before feeding it. This will make it easier to chew and less likely to get stuck in the throat.
4. Try not to feed cats leftovers and various types of human food. Long-term eating will affect the cat's health.
5. In addition to feeding your cat cat food, you should also feed your cat some fresh fruits, vegetables and meat regularly to ensure a balanced nutritional intake.
