Can Samoyeds eat ham?
Samoyeds cannot eat ham. Ham contains oil, salt, additives and seasonings. After dogs eat it, it will increase the burden on the gastrointestinal and kidneys, and in severe cases can cause acute renal failure.
Keepers can purchase pet-specific ham sausages to replace ordinary ham sausages. However, breeders should not feed too much to avoid dogs being picky eaters and causing malnutrition and stunted growth.
It is recommended that breeders only feed dog food to Samoyeds. Dog food is nutritionally comprehensive and can meet the dog's growth needs. Moreover, dog food will not increase the burden on the dog’s gastrointestinal tract or bring negative effects to the dog.
