How to tell if your dog has a cold

Symptoms of a dog catching a cold:

1. When a dog catches a cold, he will be depressed and in a poor mental state. He will always lie motionless on the ground. Get sleepy easily and always sleep.

2. Dogs will have a runny nose when they have a cold. Generally, the nose is watery and transparent. If the nasal discharge is pus-like, it may be a bacterial or viral infection, and you should go to the pet hospital for treatment in time.

3. Dogs will have symptoms of sneezing and coughing after catching a cold. It will be difficult to swallow food, they will feel throat discomfort, and they may also vomit.

4. After a dog catches a cold, his appetite will decrease, and he will not be interested in even his favorite snacks.

5. The normal body temperature of puppies is 38.5~39℃, and the normal body temperature of adult dogs is 37.5~38.5℃. The body temperature of dogs with colds will increase a lot.

6. When a dog catches a cold, his eyes will be severely congested, his eyes will be covered with red bloodshot eyes, and he will be unwilling to open his eyes all day long. Tears will appear frequently, causing tear stains to suddenly become severe.
