Can cats eat oranges?

Cats cannot eat oranges. Oranges contain strong acidic ingredients, which can irritate the cat’s gastrointestinal tract. Cats eating too much may cause poisoning, and even cause persistent diarrhea and vomiting. Oranges also contain certain essential oils, which have a strong smell and can also irritate cats, irritating their respiratory tract and causing them to sneeze. Symptoms such as itchy eyes and nose, runny nose, facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and itchy skin may also occur.

Things that cats cannot eat:

1. Cats cannot eat green onions, onions and leeks. They contain ingredients that destroy the cat’s red blood cells and can cause anemia and diarrhea. Symptoms such as hematuria, vomiting and fever, and in the most serious cases, the cat may die.

2. Avocado. Avocados contain a chemical toxin that is very harmful to cats. It can cause digestive tract problems, difficulty breathing, and high fever. Ingestion of large amounts can cause cats to die.

3. Raw potatoes. Raw potatoes contain a toxic nicotine-like substance that can cause serious gastrointestinal disorders in cats. Additionally, sprouted potatoes, whether cooked or not, can cause heart problems in cats.
