It is not recommended to bathe kittens that have not been fully vaccinated. For some adult cats, it is theoretically recommended to bathe them four to six times a year. Don't bathe your cat too frequently.
Precautions for cat bathing:
1. The water temperature should not be too low or too high, and should not be hot (40-50℃). Keep the room warm to prevent cats from catching colds.
2. The bath water should not be too much, so as not to submerge the cat, or rinse with slow-flowing water.
3. The detergent used should not be too irritating to avoid irritating the skin. To prevent bath water from entering the eyes, put oily eye drops on the cat's eyes before taking a bath to protect the eyes.
4. For long-haired cats, the coat should be fully combed before bathing to remove the shed hair to prevent it from becoming tangled during washing, which will take more time to sort out.
5. Cats should not be bathed when their health is not good. Kittens under 6 months old are prone to disease and should not be bathed. Cats over 6 months old should not be bathed too often.
6. After washing, dry it quickly with a dry towel, and then comb the hair carefully. If it is a long-haired cat, you can also use a hair dryer to dry it and comb it, but pay attention to the temperature.
