Methods to prevent dog mites:
1. Try not to let dogs play in dark and humid places and avoid contact with sick dogs.

4. Bathe your dog regularly and use pet-specific shower gel to keep the hair clean and dry.

Characteristics of dog mites:
1. Dogs of all ages may suffer from the disease.
2. It may occur at any time of the year, but is most common in winter.
3. It is highly contagious and can be transmitted through mutual contact between dogs and the mats they have slept on.
4. The prone areas are the eyes, ears, bridge of the nose, chest, and then the trunk and limbs.
5. In the early stage of the disease, irregular red dots appear on the dog's body surface, with a large amount of dander on the surface, the skin thickens, and the coat falls off. In the middle stage of the disease development, the epidermis is covered with scabs, cracks and bleeding, and when there is bacterial infection, there is pus-like secretion in the affected area, accompanied by a foul odor. As the disease continues to progress, the lesions will become larger and larger, rapidly spreading throughout the dog's body.
6. Due to skin inflammation and itching, the dog will show irritability, seriously affecting eating and rest, and becoming increasingly thin. If not treated in time, it will become more serious and will generally not heal on its own.
