What to do if your dog’s eyes are swollen

Solutions to swollen dog eyes:

1. The owner should first clean the dog’s eyes with saline, and then apply anti-inflammatory ointment to prevent eye inflammation.

2. The owner needs to take the dog to the pet hospital to check whether it is infected with germs, and then carry out disinfection treatment.

3. If it is caused by parasites, the owner needs to deworm the dog regularly.

4. If it is caused by allergies, it is recommended to go to the hospital for desensitization treatment in time.

Causes of swollen eyes in dogs:

1. Local mosquito bites cause allergies, and the dog’s eyes appear obvious itching, followed by constant scratching, causing eye problems. Symptoms such as swollen eyes and inflammation may occur.

2. Local allergic reactions caused by some irritating sprays or some foods can also cause swelling of the dog's eyes.

3. Eye swelling may also be caused by inflammation caused by bacteria and germs in the dog's eyes.

4. It is also possible that the dog’s eyes are swollen due to parasite infection.
