What to do after a dog vomits? What should you pay attention to in your diet?

Fast for 12 hours
If it eats soon after vomiting, it will easily vomit again. Even if your dog appears hungry, hold back and never feed him. Fasting also gives the dog a chance to eliminate things that may trigger vomiting.
Feed your dog water
Depending on your dog’s weight, feed about 2 teaspoons of water per kilogram of body weight per hour. Continue feeding it this way throughout the day until it can drink normally. Drinking too much water after vomiting will cause the dog to vomit again, and not drinking water will cause dehydration. Be sure to be careful about the amount of water you feed.
Eat appropriately
After twelve hours, give the dog easily digestible food. If the dog stops vomiting, give him a little more food every hour or two.
Notes
Once it starts to vomit again, stop feeding immediately and take it to the doctor. It's a good idea to keep a record of what your dog eats and drinks, how much it does, and how it behaves. Do not try new foods or medications to avoid worsening your dog's condition.
