Why does the dog smell so bad?

The reasons why dogs smell bad:

1. They are born with it. Some dogs have a greater body odor, which is related to genetic factors. Such as bulldogs, etc.

2. Ear diseases. Dogs' ears are easily infected with bacteria or mites. If the ears are infected, the ears will stink, and the whole body will stink.

3. Smelly feet. Except for the tongue, only the soles of the dog's body have sweat glands. It dissipates heat through the soles of the feet. The sweat is very moist and can easily be stained with dirt. Sweat plus dirt will form odors.

4. Not taking a shower for a long time. The dog should be bathed every other week, especially in the summer, and the frequency of bathing should be increased. The dog's body hair is longer, and if it is not bathed frequently, it will have a pungent odor.

5. Anal gland odor. A lot of dirt will accumulate in the dog's anal glands. If the anal glands are not cleaned for a long time, they may become smelly or cause anal inflammation.

6. Endocrine disorders. When dogs suffer from diseases, are in heat, or give birth, they can cause endocrine disorders and odor.
