Patellar luxation in dogs does not necessarily require surgery. For some mild first- and second-level patellar luxations, we can use external force to help them reset, while third- and fourth-level patellar luxations require surgery. Parents usually raise dogs. Also pay attention to protecting the dog’s patella, especially in some dog breeds where the patella is prone to dislocation.

Dogs’ bones will degenerate rapidly after they enter old age. Parents should take good care of their dogs’ bones at this stage so that they can live longer.
