There are two main reasons why dogs die the next day after eating bones:
1. It may be that the bones scratch the intestines, causing gastrointestinal bleeding and acute gastroenteritis.
2. It may be stuck in the throat and esophagus, causing the dog to suffocate and die.
Tips:
Bone is relatively hard and not easily broken. It can easily scratch the dog’s stomach and throat or get stuck in the esophagus, causing life-threatening consequences. So it’s best not to feed your dog bones, especially chicken bones.
