Dogs can eat fish but they will get stuck. Unlike cats, which have barbs on their tongues, dogs can pick out all the big spines when eating fish. Therefore, dogs may get stuck when eating larger fish. Parents can shave off the fish bones before feeding fish to their dogs, or feed them fish without fish bones.

If the dog accidentally gets stuck while eating fish, parents can give it more water or vinegar. If it cannot be taken out, it should be sent to the hospital for treatment in time.
