Dog classification

The most common classification of dogs is based on body size, which can be divided into five categories: ultra-small dogs, small dogs, medium-sized dogs, large dogs and extra-large dogs. Ultra-small dogs refer to those whose adult weight does not exceed 4 kilograms, small dogs do not exceed 10 kilograms, medium-sized dogs weigh between 11-30 kilograms, large dogs weigh between 30-40 kilograms, and very large dogs weigh above 41 kg.

Tip:

Usually different dogs have different nutritional needs. For example, large dogs have greater calcium requirements because of their larger size. , so owners need to provide large dogs with more calcium-containing substances to promote their bone growth, and allow them to get sufficient exercise every day.
