Cats can eat on the day they are neutered. Cats may be reluctant to eat after sterilization surgery due to pain. Not eating for a long time can easily cause hypoglycemia and dehydration. Rice can appropriately replenish energy for cats. But if the cat is unwilling to eat, it is recommended that the owner put some clean drinking water or liquid food, or use a syringe or straw to suck the liquid food into the cat's mouth.
How to care for cat sterilization:
1. Wear Elizabethan rings on the cat. You can prepare a few more for easy washing and changing. Wear them for the number of days recommended by the doctor (usually 14 about days).
2. Check the wound regularly and perform anti-inflammation and disinfection. Generally, the doctor will inform you after the operation, so just follow the doctor's instructions.
3. Regular follow-up visits. Female cats usually go there once on the 3rd and 7th days, and the sutures are removed around the 10th day, based on the doctor's instructions.
4. If conditions permit, the cat can wear a surgical gown. If the hygiene at home is good, you can choose not to wear it
