Cause 1 of Corgi bad breath: food residue remains after feeding
Many owners like to feed their Corgis liquid food, but they do not have the habit of cleaning their mouths after feeding. Food residue remains in the Corgi’s mouth. Bad breath will develop over time. Therefore, after the owner feeds the Corgi, he should clean the Corgi's mouth in time and clean the food remaining in the teeth, so that he will not be so prone to bad breath. When the owner cleans the Corgi's mouth, he can use a small toothbrush to brush his teeth, or he can use mouthwash to rinse his mouth.
Cause 2 of Corgi’s bad breath: Lack of vitamin B
Many owners may not know that dogs are prone to bad breath if they are deficient in vitamin B. When owners usually feed their dogs, they may prefer to feed meat and rarely feed vegetables, and corgis do not like to eat vegetables. In the long run, it is easy to cause the dog to lack vitamin B. When feeding Corgis, owners should occasionally feed vegetables and fruits. They can add some cooked vegetables to the food, and feed fruit puree after meals to supplement vitamins. In addition, pet owners can also feed Corgis vitamin B supplements. When feeding food, they can mix vitamin B powder directly into the food.
The third reason for Corgi bad breath: Corgi indigestion
Some Corgis are more anxious when eating, eat more, and are prone to indigestion. When a Corgi has indigestion, the food in the stomach accumulates, forming flatulence and rising to the Corgi's mouth, causing bad breath. Therefore, pet owners should control the Corgi’s diet and feed digestive powder when indigestion occurs.
