Depending on where the thrombus is blocked, the symptoms are different. The most common symptoms include: sudden quadriplegia in cats, screaming in pain and difficulty breathing. Sometimes the cat’s limbs are uncoordinated and are also precursors to thrombosis in cats. Feline thrombosis is a disease with a high fatality rate. It is recommended that cat owners send their pets to the hospital for treatment immediately if they find that their pets have thrombosis.
