Felines with chronic renal failure in the late stage will experience symptoms such as lethargy, frequent urination or anuria, vomiting and diarrhea, whitening of the oral mucosa, dehydration, general convulsions, and abdominal breathing. In the early stages of chronic renal failure in cats, symptoms such as increased water intake, deterioration of mental status, and weight loss are generally seen. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly cats. Therefore, once a cat shows similar symptoms, it is best to send it to a pet hospital for examination and treatment immediately.
