1. Food supplements
In the process of feeding Alaska, try to feed the dog dog food. Don't let it eat the same meals as its owner. Of course, in addition to dog food, we can add some vegetables and foods that can supplement calcium. For example, you can add bone broth to her dog food, which can effectively supplement the dog's calcium. You can also add some kelp with a relatively high calcium content to your dog’s dog food. You can also give your dog shrimp skin, beef and soy products.
2. Calcium supplement products
Food supplements are absorbed slowly and take effect slowly. If Alaska already has symptoms of calcium deficiency or is already severely deficient, it is recommended to mix in pet-specific liquid calcium or calcium powder or calcium tablets while supplementing food to help dogs replenish calcium better and faster.
3. Vitamins
Note that when supplementing Alaska with calcium, in addition to calcium nutrition, you also need to pay attention to the supply of vitamins A and D. Vitamin D can promote the absorption of calcium in the intestine. If vitamin D is lacking, it will affect the absorption of calcium. Of course, excessive vitamin D is also harmful to dogs and can easily lead to vitamin D poisoning. None of this achieves the purpose of supplementing calcium for dogs.
