When should German Shepherds be vaccinated?
When should the puppy be vaccinated? The puppy should receive a shot of kennel cough vaccine when it is 30 days old. Take the dog to get a six-shot vaccine at 7-8 weeks, 11-12 weeks and 14-15 weeks after birth. There are three shots in total of the vaccine; after the little German shepherd has received the third shot of the six-linked vaccine, he will receive another rabies vaccine injection one week apart.

The first shot of vaccine: German Shepherd puppies should receive the first shot of kennel cough vaccine when they are 30 days old.

The second shot of vaccine: When dogs are seven to eight weeks old, they must receive the first shot of the six-link vaccine. Before taking your dog for vaccination, you must make sure that the German Shepherd puppy does not have any symptoms of illness. For example, a cold or diarrhea. Because the dog’s body does not allow vaccination.

The third dose of vaccine: At 11 to 12 weeks, you should receive the second injection of the six-part vaccine.

The fourth injection of vaccine: Puppies aged 14 to 15 weeks can receive the third injection of six-linked vaccine.

The fifth injection of vaccine: After the third injection of the six-linked vaccine, take another rabies vaccine injection one week apart.

After that, six-linked vaccine and rabies vaccine must be injected regularly every year. Only in this way can the dog's disease be effectively controlled.

It should be noted that it is best not to bathe the dog during the vaccination period, because the dog’s resistance is relatively weak at this time, and it is easy to catch a cold if bathed. If your dog is dirty, wipe it gently with a semi-dry soft cloth. The puppy must be bathed 5-7 days after vaccination.
