The Schnauzer was originally a hunting dog that worked in the bushes. When they ran, their wagging tails would hit the bushes, and they would be injured by the bushes, and their tails would be cut off due to the needs of their work.
The ends of most dogs’ spines (i.e., tail vertebrae) are tilted upward, while some dogs’ spine ends grow downward. If the tail vertebrae is downward, the dog will cause problems when he suddenly sits down. Puncture wounds, so the Schnauzer's tail was docked for safety.
Another reason is to maintain the overall line proportions of the Schnauzer: it can make the lines of Xiaoxue’s neck and back extend to the tail end to be consistent. This can make the Little Schnauzer look more beautiful.
