Disadvantages of the Basset Dog:
1. Basset has a strong body odor, its screams are too penetrating, and there is saliva.
2. It requires a lot of space and time to exercise and maintain physical and mental health, so it is not suitable for city life.
3. Comb the coat regularly and clean the ears (in fact, if the owner is careful, these are not considered shortcomings).
4. Sometimes they will make some very low and dissatisfied roars, especially when left alone at home.
5. Its velvety ears droop down, blocking the circulation of air, and require regular testing and care, otherwise it may cause ear inflammation.
