Height: The male dog is about 63-69 cm tall at the withers, and the female dog is about 58-63 cm tall at the withers.
Coat: The hair is short, straight, thick at the top and fine at the bottom. The coat color is black, with yellowish-brown or reddish-brown spots on specific parts, and these spots do not exceed one-tenth of the body. The undercoat is black, gray, or light brown, but it is not good enough to be seen from the outside. Curly hair is considered disqualifying.
Head: medium length, broad skull, short and thick muzzle, quite bulging forehead, very dilated foreheads, and some dogs with wrinkles on the head. The head is of medium length and broad between the ears; the forehead is moderately arched; the cheekbones are well arched and have clear stops, and the upper and lower jaws are very strong. The forehead is dry, but when it is alert, some wrinkles appear. The expression is noble, alert and confident.
Ears: The ears are of medium size, with high base and lying flat. Drooping, triangular; ears level with the top of the head when listening alertly, giving the head a wide appearance. The ears are set relatively apart and droop, with the inner edge close to the head and the end close to the middle of the cheek.
Eyes: almond-shaped eyes, medium in size, bronze in color.
Nose: The nose is very developed and must be black.
Torso: Square physique, strong and strong, broad chest, straight back, sloping waist.
Limbs: The forelimbs are straight and muscular, and the hind limbs are bent at an acute angle.
Feet: firm steps, round fore feet, slightly slender hind feet, hard toes, short and black claws, raised toes, and a mark similar to a black pencil on the front of the toenails.
Tail: The base of the tail is high and level. It is usually docked at the first joint.
