In the process of raising Dachshunds, dog food must be the main food, because dogs need to be breastfed when they are very young. When they grow up to a certain period, they can choose professional dog food for feeding. An eight-week-old dog can be fed dog food four times a day. It can be reduced to two times when you reach adulthood.
The main food for dachshunds is best imported dog food. The dog should only be 70% full after eating. Do not overdo it and let it lick the bowl with satisfaction. If you eat too much and run and jump after meals, it is easy to become intact. Spit it out without moving. For puppies kept in cages all year round, eating is their rare entertainment, so they will be very greedy. Don't be fooled by them into thinking they are really hungry.
Feed 150-300 grams of meat and the same amount of cooked and dried vegetables every day according to the size of the dog's body. The meat should be cooked with water, minced, and mixed with a little boiling water and dry ingredients before feeding. Feeding should be done at the specified time and place, and eating should be limited to 15-25 minutes without delay to develop good living habits. Feed must be clean and fresh, food bowls and other tableware should be washed frequently, and clean drinking water should be provided.
After eating, be sure to satisfy the dog’s activity level. Walk at least twice a day, each time lasting at least 20 minutes. And after returning, parents must not forget to clean the dust and sludge on the dog's body. You can use a wet towel to wipe its body to keep its coat clean.
