How to train a dog to refuse food
Refuse to pick up food:

Place the food in a few obvious places, then lead the dog nearby and gradually get closer to the food. When the dog shows that it wants to eat, immediately give a stern command of "no" and pull the leash to stop it. When the dog stops picking up food, he should be stroked to show encouragement. Then continue to take the dog to another food place and train it in the same way.

On this basis, some food can be scattered in relatively hidden places. Instead of using a training rope, the owner can stay farther away from the dog and still use the above method for training until the training rope is no longer needed and the dog can stop picking up food immediately according to the command during free activities. In order to prevent the dog's conditioned reflex to the command from weakening or extinguishing, mechanical stimulation should often be appropriately combined with it to strengthen it.

In addition, you can also use some meat soaked in chili oil or meat with chili peppers to help train your dog. If the owner takes the dog by, the dog will definitely feel very spicy after eating the chili meat cubes. In this way, even the gluttonous dog will have a long memory. The owner should note that the chili meat pieces should be dipped in broth to cover up the smell of chili pepper. Otherwise, the dog will not be fooled by the smell of chili pepper.

Refuse to be fed by strangers:

First invite friends to help and feed the dog food. When the dog wants to eat, the owner uses the above method to stop the dog, and promptly encourages the dog to stop eating.

If the dog can refuse to eat food from strangers in the presence of the owner, then further anti-feeding training can be carried out. The owner hides himself so that the dog cannot see him. At the same time, he ties the dog with a long leash, and then asks a friend to feed the dog something to eat. If the dog wants to eat, the owner will yell "No!" and jerk the leash to stop the dog.
