⑴ Go to the pet hospital for infusion.
⑵ Self-infusion:
{①Go to the pet hospital to give the dog an indwelling injection}
{②Get related nutritional supplements and equipment (salt water, glucose, high sugar...; infusion pot, needle sealing medicine...)}
{③Consult and record the medication method (medication order, dosage per time, daily dosage, contraindications, period of use, storage method)}
{④Take the dog home while being careful not to touch the indwelling needle}
{⑤Infuse yourself}. Various medicines, usage and dosage, please follow your doctor’s advice)
Infusion steps: {①Hang the infusion bottle}→{②Adjust the flow rate regulator to prevent the flow of liquid}→{③After preparing the medicine, use a cork piercer or a large needle to draw the medicine, and put it in Inside the infusion barrel}→{④Pinch the drip pot to make the medicine flow into the drip pot}→{⑤Adjust the flow rate regulator to allow the liquid to flow}→{⑦After the medicine flows out of the infusion needle, insert the infusion needle into the indwelling needle}→ {⑧Use the flow rate regulator to adjust the speed}→{⑨After the infusion is completed, seal the injection into the indwelling needle}
PS:
⑴The indwelling needle needs to be changed once it is left in for about 3 to 4 days at most, otherwise bacteria will breed.
⑵ The reason why the medicinal solution cannot flow into the dog’s body: the indwelling needle is blocked. Solution:
Squeeze the liquid in the infusion tube toward the needle. If it still doesn't work, it means the indwelling needle is loose.
{①Use a syringe to draw a little of the "medicine being infused"}→{②Inject it into the indwelling needle very slowly}→{③If it becomes smoother and smoother later, it means it is normal, if it still does not work, it means The indwelling needle is loose}. ——If the indwelling needle is loose, you can only go to the pet hospital to get a new one.
⑶ Remember to seal the injection after the infusion is completed.
⑷Bubbles in the infusion tube: Use a pen or finger to pop up the bubbles in the infusion tube.
2. Kill germs
Canine distemper monoclonal antibody (monoclonal antibody for short)
{Drug usage}: intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
{Dosage per time}: (Please follow your doctor’s advice)
{Daily dosage}: Once a day.
{Medication period}: "During prevention", use the medication continuously for 2-3 days at intervals of 1-2 weeks; "During treatment", inject once a day for 3-5 days, and take more injections after 7 days. Unintentional (do not take medications at intervals during treatment, otherwise the efficacy will be affected).
{Drug Storage}: Store frozen below 0℃, store at 4℃ after opening, valid within one week. Do not freeze and thaw repeatedly.
After taking monoclonal antibody, the test paper failed to test accurately. And after taking monoclonal antibody, the previous vaccination will be invalid, and you need to wait for one month to recover and then take it again.
If it is too expensive, you can use "double serum" instead (for treating parvovirus and canine distemper), but the efficacy is not as good as monoclonal antibodies. It is recommended to use the best monoclonal antibody as possible, because canine distemper and parvovirus are difficult to suppress.
3. Suppress germs
Canine distemper interferon
{Drug usage}: intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
{Dosage per time}: (Please follow your doctor’s advice). Dissolve each interferon in 1ml of sterile water for injection before use.
{Daily dosage}: Once a day.
{Medication period}: 2 to 4 weeks is a course of treatment, or please follow the doctor’s advice.
{Drug storage}: Store refrigerated at 2~8℃.
IV. Diet
Plan for when the dog can eat (or does not have parvovirus)
{Beef + water} → {Cook → Cut into small pieces → Force feeding}!
{Usage}: Must eat, forced feeding.
{Dosage per time}: Usual food intake is for reference.
{Daily dosage}: More than 3 times a day.
{Period}: Until the animal can eat itself.
Can be supplemented with products for dogs: "Oral Rehydration Salts", "Goat Milk Powder", etc.
The biggest taboo for canine plague is not eating. Almost half of the cure is due to eating!
Do not add seasonings. Beef is more nutritious than most nutritional products, but most nutritional products are useless and may delay the disease. If conditions permit, remember to use nutritional supplements under the guidance of a doctor to avoid self-defeating.
Note: If an animal suffering from canine distemper is also suffering from parvovirus, it cannot be fed or watered and can only be given an infusion (nutrient solution). Because even feeding a dog with parvovirus "a little bit" of food or water will increase the bacteria, worsen the condition, and may even lead to death.
5. Anti-inflammation
(For various medicines, usage and dosage, please follow your doctor’s advice)
Because anti-inflammatory drugs have side effects, you need to switch to another type of anti-inflammatory drug after using it for 3 days and use it repeatedly.
Six. Pay attention to the environment
Canine distemper and parvovirus are difficult to eliminate, so "special" disinfectants must be used.
⑴ Canine distemper is a distemper disease. If the ambient temperature is too high, it will not be conducive to the dog's body dissipation of heat, and will cause the dog's body temperature to continue to rise, evento life-threatening.
⑵ Canine distemper is afraid of heat. Allowing a dog suffering from canine distemper to bask in the sun, especially strong sunlight, will cause the dog's body temperature to rise sharply and cause shortness of breath, thus aggravating the condition, so it suffers from canine distemper. Hot and sick dogs cannot bask in the sun. For individual frail dogs that do not show fever symptoms, they can bask in the sun moderately if necessary, but they must be careful.
⑶ If the animal suffering from canine distemper also suffers from parvovirus, the dog should also be prevented from catching cold.
⑷A cool and ventilated environment of 25~28 degrees Celsius is most beneficial to dogs suffering from canine distemper. In such an environment, dogs suffering from canine distemper can rest and sleep more peacefully, breathe more smoothly, reduce irritability, feel comfortable physically and mentally, and recover quickly.
Warm reminder:
⑴ Dogs suffering from canine distemper cannot be vaccinated, otherwise the vaccine itself is a virus and will worsen the condition.
⑵ Injection suggestions: During the injection, one person massages the dog's head and eyes to distract; the other person pinches the animal's skin with one hand, and quickly and accurately injects the needle into the pinched skin with the other hand. . (Do not irritate or frighten an animal suffering from canine distemper. Stimulation will aggravate the condition. Example: The injection technique must be fast and accurate. If you are frightened during the injection, it will literally aggravate the condition immediately. For example, the twitching of the head will aggravate and the limbs will also be affected one after another. Twitching.)
