How to bathe an English Cocker Spaniel:
If you want to bathe Cocker at home, you must prepare toiletries (bath basin, pet-specific body wash, bath towel, comb, hair dryer, etc.). Before bathing, we must comb the dog's hair smoothly, otherwise it will get wet. It is more difficult to comb after it is removed.
Prepare an appropriate amount of warm water in the bathtub. If you are not sure whether the water temperature is appropriate, we should first put the dog’s paws in to test the water temperature. If the dog does not have any nervousness or rejection, then It means that the water temperature can be accepted by it, then you can give the cockerel a bath.
A. Comb the fur first, otherwise the fur will easily become tangled and difficult to take care of.
B. Test the water temperature with your hands to avoid it being too hot or too cold, and avoid direct exposure to the dog
C. Move from the Cocker Spaniel’s back to its head, and wet the body with water.
D. When showering your head with water, raise your head and let the water slowly flow down against your head. Be careful not to allow water to enter your ears and nose.
E. After the Cocker Spaniel’s body is wet, pour the shampoo on the Cocker Spaniel’s head, back, limbs and other key parts, and rub them
F. Eyes and nose: Hold the beagle’s face with both hands, and rub your fingers down along the hair. Be careful not to let soapy water splash into the eyes and nose.
G. Ears: Hold the ears with both hands and rub them gently.
H. Limbs: The joints and soles of the Cocker Spaniel’s feet should also be carefully rubbed.
I. Anal glands: use your index finger and thumb together to push gently from outside to inside

To give a Cocker a bath, the weather must be particularly warm. If the weather is too cold, the editor does not recommend that you give a Cocker a bath at home. In addition, there is no need to bathe the Cocker every day. Washing it too frequently will not be good for its hair and skin.
