Introduction to the steps for bathing a Bull Terrier:
First of all, before taking a bath, you need to comb the dog's coat to remove all dead hair.
Since medium-sized dogs are about the same size as humans, you need to prepare a larger water dish or a bathtub. Put in an appropriate amount of warm water. The water temperature is about 40 degrees, which is most suitable. The water depth is enough to expose the dog's head and neck. After you are ready, you can put the dog into the water basin and massage its back, abdomen, hind limbs, etc. Be careful to avoid water getting into the dog's ears, and do not splash into the eyes or nose.
When applying body wash, you can keep your dog higher than the water surface, so that it can better clean into the deep layers of the hair. After scrubbing, cover the dog's ears from the chin upwards with your hands, and then rinse. This is mainly to prevent water from penetrating into the ears. After rinsing the head, there is no need to cover the dog's ears. Start rinsing from its neck until all the bath foam is completely rinsed away.
Wrap the prepared towel around the dog’s head first, absorb the moisture, and slowly wipe away the moisture from the coat all over the body. Finally, use a hair dryer to dry the coat. Do not let the hair dryer be too close, otherwise the high temperature will frighten your dog and avoid scalding its coat and skin. During the blow-drying process, you need to use a comb to comb the coat at the same time to keep the hair smooth and neat.
It is worth noting that the bathing process must not be in a low temperature environment, that is, you must pay attention to bathing your dog in winter. Although polar dogs have good cold tolerance, they are prone to colds and illnesses when their coats get wet, and it is generally necessary to bathe dogs in winter.
