What to do if your dog has fleas

Method 1:

Pour Fengyou essence into the water for bathing the dog, then put the dog in and wash it. After washing, put the dog into the bag and tie the handle of the bag around its neck. Don't tie it too tightly. When the hair dries, all the fleas on his body will come off as soon as he shakes it off. Just wash it a few times and it will be fine. Don't wash it too often, as you will get skin diseases. Soak it for a while each time.

Method 2:

Mix orange peels, grapefruit peels, 3 garlics, and about 500 ml of water. Stir evenly with a juicer. Then heat over low heat for 15 minutes and let cool. Put it in a watering bottle. Just avoid it. For eyes, just spray directly onto the pet.

Method 3:

Dietary therapy methods. Mix a spoonful of vinegar in about 1000 ml of water and use it as daily drinking water for pets. It is very effective in preventing fleas and ticks. (Recommended for long-term drinking)!

Method 4:

When combing the fur of cats and dogs with a comb with dense teeth, fleas may get stuck in the teeth of the comb. At this time, do not crush it to death, but stick it to the tape or put it in water dissolved in detergent to kill it. If the flea is crushed to death, the eggs inside the flea will fly out and may be licked into the body by cats and dogs.

Method 5:

Clean your home thoroughly and use a vacuum cleaner to remove any fleas that have slipped through the net or fallen onto the bed. Especially the corners of the room, the edges of the wooden floors, and the lint of carpets and blankets should be cleaned carefully. If it still doesn't clear up enough, hang insecticide boards in the house or put insecticides under carpets and rugs. However, insecticidal boards are not only the nemesis of fleas, but also harmful to humans and cats, so they must be used temporarily as a last resort when fleas are prevalent in the home. Families with children, cats and dogs are better off not using it.

Method 6:

The countermeasure to eliminate fleas is to keep cats and dogs' bodies clean. Shampoos and care solutions specially designed to kill fleas are used to deal with fleas that cannot be cleaned with a comb. When washing, wet it little by little from the beginning so that fleas have no way to escape.

Method 7:

For dogs who don’t like bathing, use flea powder for them. Flea powders for both cats and dogs may contain ingredients that are harmless to dogs but harmful to cats, so use one formulated specifically for cats. Separate the hair behind the ears and on the legs on the abdomen where fleas may be present, insert your hands and sprinkle with flea powder, and then comb them out with a brush. Spread once every 2-3 days, not every day.

Method 8:

Take 250 grams of fresh citrus peel, cut it into fine pieces with a knife, wrap it in gauze and squeeze out the sour and bitter juice. Dilute the juice with 500 grams of boiling water and mix well. After it cools down, spray it on the cats and dogs, or soak the towels in the citrus diluent and wrap them on the cats and dogs. After one hour, all the fleas on the cats and dogs will be dead. Drop!

In addition, the pillows and sleeping pads used by pets are the simplestPlacing some cedar, laurel, eucalyptus leaves, and mint leaves around (available in pharmacies and very cheap) can also easily drive away fleas on pets.

Traditional flea killer drugs can easily cause poisoning in dogs. Some flea killers for cats are also toxic to dogs. If several flea killers are used at the same time, the chemicals in them may react and become toxic to your dog. So be careful when killing fleas. If the doctor prescribes flea medicine, other medicines, or anesthesia for your dog, tell the doctor what flea medicine you are currently using.
