The difference between Husky and Alaska:
The distance between the two ears of the Husky is relatively close to the top, while the ears of the Alaskan are closer to the sides. There are only two eye colors in Alaska, black and brown, and the rest are disqualified. Huskies have blue or yin and yang eyes. In most cases, the tail of the Alaskan is curled behind the back like a ball, while the tail of the Husky is raised like a dog's tail.
The long-haired Alaskan is not suitable for pulling sleds. The long hair is not easy to shake off the snow and will freeze to death. As a working dog, it is not recommended to breed.
First, the long-haired Alaskan and the short-haired Alaskan are both Alaskans, not the same breed.
Second, the long and short hair of a certain Alaski is determined by a dominant-recessive gene. There is no right or wrong genetically speaking. There are experiments to support this evidence, please check the details yourself.
Third, the problem of bear version of Alaska (giant Alaska). Most domestic Alaskans pursue large bodies, wide mouths, heads and big paws. This is a serious disqualification. Whether long-haired or short-haired, this artificially bred Alaskan breed has various joint problems. Normal Alaskans, whether long-haired or short-haired, are slightly larger than Huskies.
Fourth, Alaskans are difficult to raise, and so are huskies. It is not recommended to raise long-haired Alaskans in the south because of the humidity and sultry heat. You have to turn on the air conditioner all the time, and they are prone to skin diseases. Each of my two dogs vomits at least once a month. They vomit their fur. They vomit after eating too much and they also vomit when they are hungry. Sometimes I vomit after feeding too much snacks. Newbies should consider this carefully. When walking your dog, you basically drag it along, and you need to train your dog to follow you when you were young.
Fifth, many backyards and dog dealers now claim that they are registered kennels or something like that, which is all nonsense. Please go to the official website to check its registration number, read its annual breeding plan, and reserve a dog six months in advance. Buy it when you get there. A kennel that breeds a lot of dogs will most likely sell them in the backyard, or nine times out of ten they will sell the dogs they collected.
Then, if you want to breed dogs for competitions, please choose short-haired dogs. Long-haired dogs are not allowed to participate.
