Solutions for dog vaginitis

1. Vaginal washing:

First rinse with 2% sodium bicarbonate solution, and then use 0.1% potassium permanganate solution to fully wash the vagina. If For dogs with severe vaginal edema, you can use 0.5%-1% alum solution, decoct with 15g each of Sophora flavescens and Gentian grass, remove the residue and wait until it cools to lavage the dog's vagina, but owners need to pay attention. If the vaginal wall is seriously damaged or perforated, it is strictly forbidden to rinse the vagina. And when there is little vaginal secretion, there is no need to rinse.

2. Pathogen treatment:

Dogs with severe vaginitis also need intramuscular injection of oxypiperazine penicillin, 2 times a day, 1 gram each time; intramuscular injection of cefazolin sodium, 2 times a day. 0.5g each time; take "Baiyanjing", 2 times a day, 0.5-1 tablet each time.

3. Garlic treatment:

It is more effective for dogs with stubborn vaginitis. You need to choose 1 ml of garlic juice, dilute it to 5 ml with warm water and pour it into the vagina. Be sure to keep the dog's posterior height high. Lower the body position for more than half an hour, once a day, for 6-10 days.
